What else would a Philly girl blog about, but soft pretzels? I just happened to click on " Interesting...last 7 days" and found a "Philly"-themed group of pictures. So when I began the Flickr Discovery Exercise, this was "fresh" in my mind. This photo represents an ongoing problem we transplants from the Philly area have. We can find no really good soft pretzels or Italian rolls in Maryland. Wawa offers passable substitutes, but they are not "to die for" as are fresh-baked Philly pretzels and Italian rolls.
